AirPort Admin Utility for Graphite and Snow 4.2.5
This release now makes it possible for users of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard to control Apple's "Graphite" and "Snow" AirPort Base Stations.
Microsoft Office Open XML File Format Converter Mac 0.2.1
It doesn't work perfectly, but it's better than nothing: Microsoft's Open XML File Format Converter is a drag-and-drop utility that converts files created in Microsoft Office 2007 or 2008 into versions that Office 2004 (and QuarkXPress) can read. It works with Word and PowerPoint files. If you just need to convert a Word file, try opening it in Apple's TextEdit and saving it in RTF format instead -- it may work better for you. If you do this a lot, and want a more accurate solution than Microsoft's, try Dataviz's MacLink Plus ($80). It converts hundreds of file formats, both text and graphic. And if you're using Word 2008 yourself, you may want to change its Save Preference to "Word 97-2004 Document .doc".

Camouflage 1.21
Camouflage (donationware) keeps your Desktop clean by forcing it to display only as the folder that it truly is. In other words, your Desktop is always blank, but when you double-click the desktop, the Desktop folder opens and displays all the items on your Desktop. If you drag an item to the Desktop, it appears in the Desktop folder. Use Camouflage for presentations, or just whenever your Desktop clutter is getting to you.
EPSQLPlugIn 1.0
EPSQLPlugIn (donationware) is a Quick Look plugin for Mac OS X Leopard that lets you use Quick Look to display previews and thumbnails for EPS files. Just select an EPS file in the Finder, then press the spacebar to see a preview of it. We tried it on EPS files dating back to 1992 and it worked flawlessly. The previews are sharp and you can drag them to be any size. Amazing. You really have to try this.
FinderPop 2.1.2
FinderPop (free) is a Preference Pane that enhances Mac OS X contextual menus. Control-clicking on a folder or open Finder window shows a hierarchical list of the items it contains, and items selected from the list open automatically. The utility also supports performing actions on selected items such as emailing a document, moving or deleting files, displaying item information, and more.Accessing options doesn't require buttons or menu bar icons, either. Clicking any blank area in the menu bar displays a list of user-specified files and folders for quick access to commonly used documents, directories and applications. Shift-clicking in the menu bar displays Desktop contents and mounted disks, and Command-clicking displays a process menu that can be used to switch or quit any running processes.
Print Window 4.0.1
Searchware Solutions' Print Window Standard is a free utility for Mac OS X that lets you print a list of files from a Finder window. In addition, you can control the levels of folders to print, the number of columns, icon size, and many other options. To use it, you just open a Finder window and press Command-P, or use a contextual menu or its Dock icon.Print Window Advanced ($20) adds the ability to choose specific folders to expand and control the categories of data to print. But most helpfully, it can export file listings as tab-delimited text or Excel files, print thumbnails, automatically format the list of files to fit a CD or DVD case, and will print the list as a booklet if it takes up more than one finished page.
Spirited Away 0.7
Spirited Away (free) will automatically hide the windows of any application that hasn't been used after a specified period of time. If you work with lots of applications, this can really free your mind to work on the task(s) at hand. Version 0.7 was designed for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, but in our testing, it also works in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.
Ziplight 1.2
The Zip archive format is popular on Mac OS X, and Ziplight (free) lets Mac OS X's Spotlight search and display file names within .zip archives. It will not search the contents of files in the archive, but it will find file names.
