AliasHerder 1.0
Rorohiko's Lightning Brain AliasHerder (free) is a utility that does one thing: if you drag and drop a folder onto its icon, it will replace all aliases inside the folder with the files they are referring to. When you need this… you need this!
BetterZip Quick Look Generator
MacItBetter's BetterZip Quick Look Generator (free) is a plug-in for Mac OS X 10.5's Quick Look that displays the contents of Zip archives along with detailed information about each item -- all within Leopard's Quick Look feature. It also supports several other archive formats including TAR, GZip, StuffIt's SIT, DiskDoubler, BinHex, MacBinary, and more.
DropCopy 1.4.5
DropCopy (free for up to three users, then $25/site) is a tool we use daily to quickly transfer files from one Mac to another on our network. It's simple to use: Just launch this utility on two or more Macs, and a translucent circular "drop zone" appears on each Mac's desktop. Drag any file or folder onto the circle to see the names of all DropCopy-enabled Macs. Drop the file onto one of the names, and it gets transferred to their desktop as quickly as your network allows. If you haven't been using this great little utility, please give it a try!
EPS Quick Look Plug-in
Eternal Storms Software's EPSQuickLookPlugin (free) is a plug-in for Leopard's Quick Look feature that lets you preview EPS files without launching an application. It is easy to install, and worked flawlessly in our tests.
Flag Icons
Mark James created this set of small icons of the flags of 247 countries. Each one measures 16 x 11 pixels and are included in both .png and .gif formats. The flag files are named using the ISO3166-1 two-letter country codes where possible. These free flags are perfect for use on websites and for other on-screen projects.
Perian 1.1
Perian (free) is a plug-in for QuickTime that enables it to play many popular video formats, including Divx, XviD, FLV, AVI, MS-MPEG4 v1, MS-MPEG4 v2, MS-MPEG4 v3, DivX 3.11 alpha, 3ivX, Sorenson H.263, Flash Screen Video, and Truemotion VP6. It can also handle H.264, MPEG4, AAC, AC3 audio, and VBR MP3 when inside an AVI file. This release adds compatibility with Leopard, improved performance and support for more audio formats. Note: Perian requires Mac OS X 10.4.7 or higher. (To play WMV files in QuickTime, get Flip4Mac (free) at www.flip4mac.com.)

Gallery Wrap
Gallery Wrap (free) is an Action for Photoshop that creates the illusion of your image wrapping around the edges of a canvas on stretcher bars (the wooden frame behind the canvas). It does this by reflecting the image to create the sides of the framed canvas print. Sizes include 12x12", 12x16", 16x12", 18x18", 16x20", 20x16", 20x30", 30x20" and 30x30". This action was created and used daily by www.photobloc.com for their canvas prints.
LikeFindsLike 1.0.2
Rorohiko's LikeFindsLike (free) is a plug-in for InDesign CS/CS2/CS3 that selects all the frames on a page or spread that are similar to frame you've selected. You can limit it by any combination of: frame type (text or image), width, height, angle, shear, fill color, or stroke color. You can also define a degree of tolerance. For example, you could find all text frames with a similar width as the selected one, with the same fill color and stroke color.
PageFrame 2.0
Badia PageFrame 2.0 is a free XTension for QuarkXPress 7 and a free plug-in for InDesign CS3 that prints a frame around the edge of a page or spread. It's handy when you want to temporarily print a border around the edge of a business card or other small piece. You can control the border's color, shade, line style and thickness. For QuarkXPress 6, use PageFrame 1.0.
ReplaceInPlace 1.0.2
Badia's ReplaceInPlace 1.0.2 is a free XTension for QuarkXPress 6 that lets you retain previous picture attributes when importing an image into a picture box. Previous offset and scaling, for example, can be retained when replacing a low-res with a hi-res version of a picture. You can get an equivalent XTension for QuarkXPress 4 and 5, called PictAttributes XT, at www.markzware.com.
